Multi-talented DC-based artist Dashius Clay is charting his path as an indie artist who takes elements from EDM and hip-hop. His latest release “Jet Fuel” sees him teaming up with fellow rapper Sarod and together they deliver solid performances ripe with candid and insightful bars that give listeners a glimpse into their lives from a bird’s eye view. Backed by a rich guitar-laden soundscape, Dashius kick things off with some heartfelt confessions about love, and life with a touch of bravado with lines like “If you aint gonna tell me/Then tell me i’m nuts/Tell me what’s your life like without a pistol/My aims not good/You can tell that i missed her/You don’t want smoke/Dont smoke or diss them/If we shoot an opp” and he is followed by Sarod’s profound look at his daily struggles and how he found the energy to keep his head above water.

The song comes with a simple visualizer that shows both rappers performing the track with ease. It’s a pure DIY affair
