Some of you may not remember this at all, but for those of you that do, the name Patrice Rushen resonates highly in your minds. For many of you hiphop heads, I’m sure you guys have heard her music sampled in countless amount of songs (you can do the research). She is a legend in her own right, and if you have time, go check out her music…

…which is what brings me to Danny!, who considers Rushen as one of his favorite keyboardists. To show his appreciation to her, he releases Don’t Remind Me, a beat that pays tribute to the singer’s song, Remind Me — which was on her 1982 album, Straight From The Heart.
