Chicago hip-hop artist Danny Onionz started his musical journey around 2015 and has been working tirelessly in the underground scene, slowly building up his reputation. His latest release “ON THE DAILY” is an ode to the daily struggles one goes through in order to find success and sees Danny reflecting on the never-ending grind and the search for inner peace within the madness surrounding us. Over a mellow and reflective soundscape, he delivers a heartfelt and introspective performance ripe with relatable songwriting that shows listeners a glimpse into his life with a touch of vulnerability.

Shot and directed in the iconic backdrops of Los Angeles and Chicago by the legendary APJ of APJ Films and “purple box”, the video captures the essence of the track with its warm and reflective vibe and well-crafted transitions and performance shots. The scenes used include prominent LA locations like Amoeba Records, Randy’s Donuts, and Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. A touching tribute is also paid to Mac Miller at a mural dedicated to his memory just outside Los Angeles.
