Veteran Toronto MC, Dan-e-o is not new to us and has been featured numerous times over the years. The rapper/actor has quite an extensive resume in both the Canadian music and film industries and continues to raise his status with every release. His latest effort titled “Blessed” is an insightful piece that sees him bemoaning the activities of perpetrators and clout chasers who portray false lives on the internet. Backed by the punchy and cinematic soundscape provided by Charisma a.k.a. Skizzz, Dan-e-o doesn’t mince his words in putting down the law on those fake individuals. He is also joined by two-time Juno Award-winning reggae artist, Blessed who raises the ante on the chorus with a rousing and anthemic hook.

debuted in 1996 with his first single “Dear Hip Hop” – now considered a Canadian Hip-Hop classic. The release sparked a more than two-decade career complete with numerous album releases, battle rap victories and a growing actor’s resume.
