Montreal-based indie rapper, producer, and occasional video slicer, cropscropscrops keeps pushing his musical horizons as he teams up with uprising NY-based experimental lofi, hip hop producer, vaygrnt for a new collaborative album entitled, towards the sun. Now the duo delivers the title track to our earshot. The track is a laidback and dreamy piece ripe with moody textures, downtempo drum grooves and glitchy sample chops underpinned by cropscropscrops’ off-beat lyrics and nonchalant flow.

It’s quite different and sets the tone for what is to come from these two artists.
