Uprising Nigerian artist Cixqó started making music professionally in 2015 when he met Yunqblood and Pompay and over the years proceeded to develop his skills as a producer/pianist. With a handful of singles and EPs under his belt, Cixqó now returns with a new single “Reckless” which sees him teaming up with longtime collaborator Pompay and vocalist Breana Marin. Bolstered by a sombre and melancholic soundscape, Cixqó details his personal struggles and tribulations with lines like “I’m catching my thoughts, they all in the air they seem to be flying around/ But I wanna keep moving, something’s holding me back, I’m chained to the ground“. Breana Marina joins him with a soothing melodic chorus that ties it altogether
