Christopha‘s year-long bi-weekly 26 Miles and Running project comes to a close with the last entry. The song in question “Back of the Bus”, serves as a heartfelt and reflective piece that chronicles the rapper’s journey from the low points to the high points. Over the soulful and sombre backdrop made up of lush pads and keys, he delivers a smooth and sublime performance ripe with insightful bars like “Climbing every step like they could never fail/Rise to every challenge Build up a scale/Living life in colour, far from the pale” and closes it with a tinge of celebration as he weathered the storm and found his true place in this unforgiving music scene.
