Some chill lo-fi instrumentals for this sunny afternoon/evening/whatever from producer chrisAre, a free download from Cascade Records. Enjoy.
chrisAre, the young and talented producer from Phily, is back with us bringing a pure hiphop beattape project called “lovedust”.
From this new release you feel all the New-School classics! Especially those legendary groups from Philadelphia such as Tuff Crew, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Jneiro Jarel to name a few. In addition to all his knowledge and deep rooted influences, chrisAre has developed his own beatmaking style, the clap always sure and just!
Lovedust is for all hiphop lovers !“The concept for my new album “lovedust” was something I had been thinking about for some time…I wanted to do an album without the help of the software I have become to comfortable using (Pro Tools / Ableton) & just work with the 2 pieces that were my first beat making loves… “lovedust” was produced using 1 turntable, 1 mixer, the MPC2000xl & a cassette deck… Thanks for listening, enjoy… – chrisAre”
