Indianapolis, Indiana-based rapper/producer Casper Merci recently put out his self-produced album 99: Corleone and to keep the fun going he shares some songs from the project.

“(Cocaine in the back of a) Grand Nash” is a pure display of skill as Casper flows with such energy and passion over the soulful soundscape ripe with punchy drums. The fun doesn’t stop there as the rapper gives us a glimpse into his life as an artist who at one time, was down bad and the next minute he was confident enough to state that he will be a rap legend.

“Velvet” sees Casper blending R&B with hip-hop with solid results. He makes use of a soulful and lush backdrop as his canvas to paint pictures of puppy love in the summer and the overall dreamy feel of falling in love with a youthful naïveté.
