Canadian, now Nashville native, Emily Chambers releases new single “Left Alabama.” This is the first of a 4 singles series set to drop throughout 2019.  When describing the record Chambers had this to say.

“I wrote this song when I was driving from New Orleans to Nashville (where I now live) for the first time. I had started the second leg of my first US tour in my 1983 Dodge Camper Van. My band mate had just left for another tour and I was on my own for the first time. It was an incredibly freeing feeling. Earlier that same year I had quit my day job working in insurance to do music full time, bought said camper van, and planned this tour. I manifested that exact moment; it was bad ass.”

The arrangement of jazz and soulful tones accentuate Chamber’s melodic serenade. A serenade which highlights falling in love with life, meeting strangers, and traveling.  The R&B songstress heightens a hair-raising chill recalling a time she stepped out on faith to pursue her dreams into reality.  Stream “Left Alabama” above.
