Indie rapper Callhimd steps into the limelight with this heartfelt and inspiring tune “The Pulpit.” A part reflective, part Gospel rap song that explores devotion, human flaws and the pitfalls of chasing worldly affairs to no end. The production is a blend of soul, hip-hop with Gospel leanings which fits Callhimd’s unapologetic and thoughtful songwriting. He talks about his shortcomings, spiritual resilience and dedication to serving God with lines like “What is a disciple without discipline/ What is a man if he ain’t diligent/Good morals should be significant”
This is food for thought, grab a plate.
