UK singer/songwriter Caiine  opens up from an unapologetic standpoint on her new song “Drown.” The pop/electronic fusion track is a heartfelt homage to her overcoming struggles.

Bolstered by a lush atmospheric texture that rises and drops at certain points, Caiine calmly unveils the shroud caused by some individuals from her past. Far from being vengeful, she looks back at it as a learning period while also taking the weight off her mental shoulders. Her performance is quite eclectic and powerful as her commanding gruff vocals take center stage and punches through the swirling synth-driven production. There are some elements that make it stand out from the weird vocal effects that signal a change to the way the song builds-up which captures the various emotions ranging from anger, forgiveness, and even love.
