“Fringe” is a retrospective and insightful single from Brockton, Massachusetts-based rapper/producer Manny Grey who takes listeners back to his childhood where the adversity he faced shaped him. Born to immigrant African parents and growing up with 7 siblings, Manny Grey gives us a glimpse into the tough experiences he faced and how he used music to come to terms with all the childhood trauma. Backed by a cinematic and moody soundscape, Manny delivers a fiery performance and his detailed lyrical style is beyond stunning as well as he breaks down each facet of his life without getting over our heads.

The visual concept makes use of stop motion animation using about 1,800 individual pictures of faces, 8 straight hours of filming, and 30+ hours of editing. That right there is nothing short of dedication if you asked me.
