Smoove Boy Jay is a Southside Bronx native and he is on the come up on the rap scene. Smoove Boy Jay, isn’t just any hip-hop artist from The Bronx, though many experiences have made him who he is, he chooses to glorify what he’s seen and been through with creative wordplay and flow versatility, not your conscious rapper but not your overly street artist, there’s a balance that makes Jay unique. On this track, he revisits the Mobb Deep classic record ‘Shook Ones’ and freestyles over that classic Havoc instrumental to craft this ‘Shook Freestyle’. I believe Prodigy would be proud that Smoove Boy Jay delivered a stellar verse cut from the cloth of a New Yorker.

Whilst you enjoy the freestyle, remember to keep in touch with Bronx emcee on Twitter and Instagram.
