Portland native Bleary has been juggling music and a full-time job for a while but he recently decided to focus solely on the former. This has led to him releasing a handful of solo projects including the 3 part love-lost music series that focused on love, heartbreak, self-growth, and the aftermath of it all. The genre-fusing act is now back with a 6 track project titled Bad Days. which is produced entirely by OZZIE BEATS .

The project opens up with the somber piano riffs from the track “Long Gone.” A somber, reflective track that dives into self-doubt when everything around you seems to be against you. He wrote the track after arriving in California to start his new life away from the craziness in his past. He is full of regret but doesn’t seem to lose hope as he pushes forth to the next day. This is followed by the dreamy ethereal sounds of “Candy (Intermission)” a short track that showcases his laidback melodic style and heartfelt lyrics on a type of love that is detrimental to his health.

“One Day” is a form of an open letter to everyone going through heartbreak. Over a melancholic and cinematic backdrop, Bleary details his final break up with his girl due to circumstances beyond his control. He delivers his verses in a melody laced upbeat fashion that channels his anger, frustrations on the situation. “let me go” has an atmospheric and somewhat engulfing texture that slowly builds into a moody piece. Bleary sure has a knack for penning heartfelt melancholic raps and continues to stay in the plot of the project. The final track “Don’t See You” is Bleary putting out the emotional weight holding him down, he makes use of a moody trap infused backdrop to do this effortlessly and shares his most honest moments on wax. On here, he is filled with hope as he accepts himself for who he is and moves on to better things.
