San Diego, CA emcee/producer Billy NoJokes is taking no shorts or losses on his newest release titled “Keep Control.” Backed by a gritty head-nodding beat by Goomson, NoJokes strictly warns that “…Show ’em what time it is, no clock ticking/ Remind ’em to mind your biz and stop tripping…”

DJ Special Cutz also comes through with some excellent cuts to give the track that classic hip-hop feels. “Keep Control” will appear on Billy NoJokes forthcoming EP titled Iron Soul, to drop shortly.

Heavily influenced by mid to late 90s hip hop – especially the Rawkus Records and Lyricist Lounge era. Billy NoJokes is a triple threat: MC, producer, and engineer with a strong work ethic that lives up to the name (NoJokes). He has worked and shared stages with artists such as Havoc of Mobb Deep, Murs, Crooked I, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Shabaam Sahdeeq, 2Mex, Blame One, Sojourn, Pawz One and more.

Billy NoJokes a.k.a. TILT was born and raised in Fair Haven, Connecticut, moved to San Diego, California, at the age of 15 – from a rough East Coast neighborhood to a West Coast suburb. The culture shock for Billy was enormous and with nothing familiar in the new scenery, the only thing that kept him grounded was rap music. Hip Hop gave Billy a connection that felt closer to home.
