Ghanaian-American rapper, singer Benny Okoto makes his first entry on our site with 2 singles from his upcoming projects He is also the co-founder of the digital media/art/music/tech collective Ten $teps Ahead from Raleigh, NC. Moving from PA to North Carolina and later to Texas, Benny developed a passion for writing, composing, recording, music. In 2018, Benny released his debut mixtape entitled Drugs In The Movies.

The first cut “Doubletree Doughboy Schemes” is a hard-hitting track that is ripe with deep trap stylings and showcases Okoto’s laidback unique flow. He ramps it up with a whole lot of bravado and vivid lyrics.  “Doubletree Doughboy Schemes”  is the second single off of the upcoming album, Daze Hie.

The second track “Ballon d’Or”  is a tribute to FIFA’s famous Golden Ball award and is bolstered by a thumping bassline and thick drums. It sees the rapper in his element as well and he mixes his smooth flow with a handful of references to soccer players from around the globe. “Ballon d’Or” is the first single off of the upcoming project, COWARDS DIE MANY TIMES.
