Straight out of Namibia comes Becoming Phill, a producer who has been putting in unaccountable amount of work since the late 90s and it’s damn time we re-introduce the man to y’all out there. His latest work is titled Uncanny and features emcee Mark Mushiva on the microphone. This is a straight spitting gem reminiscent of Talib and Hi-Tek’s Some Kind Of Wonderful. Mark Mushiva wastes no time with the wits and word play.

“…You see at this point, I purchase all my swag with the bit coin/ I miss point the pop culture reference on this joint…”

No gimmicks, just pure raw rap over drum heavy sparse backdrop. need I say more? Hit the play button and leave your comments below.

The Short, Simple Bio
Tshuutheni Emvula is a Namibian based music producer operating under the alias Becoming
Phill. He started making music in the late nineties when his sister introduced him to the music-
making software known as Fruity Loops at that time.
He’s since gone on to produce for a number of artists in different regions around the world including Malkovich, Pumpkinhead (formerly PH), Metafisix and others. His production for Namibian artists has won awards and he’s scored music for the award winning films and documentaries.
Today he releases another joint track with Black Vulcanite frontman, Mark Mushiva, titled ‘Uncanny’. A minimalist but drum heavy track where Mark once again proves his prowess and versatility.
