Brooklyn and Nyack, NY artist Ave delivers his offbeat, unique style of hiphop on his new single “Gaudy”. A funk, head nodding groovy jam that sees the young act spitting off the cuff lyrics with his devil may care attitude. The concept of the song was to be brutally honest about oneself.

With lyrics like  “Put a bag on my head, THATS FASHION/ My cousin sold a dozen, He still tryna hit pieces/ For the second time. Boy my ass made deans list…”, one can’t really predict the way he will go next and he stays pretty unpredictable to the end. Gaudy’s the first single from Ave’s debut project called “Still Alive” that will be released on December 15th.

Bio: Ave’s a 19 y/o artist from Brooklyn and Nyack, NY. He started playing guitar at 7 when his grandfather, Jazz musician Andrew Lamb, introduced him to the blues- and started rapping at 13 after seeing his uncle and his friends record themselves in their basement in Queens. With a style and taste heavily influenced by artists like Stevie Wonder, Kanye, Frank Ocean, Esperanza Spalding, and Jamiroquai; Ave makes it a point to blur the lines that separate genres on every song.
