“Love Supersedes” dropped yesterday on our inbox thanks to the good brother Phil… I have been listening to it since…and was deam amazed by the lyrical RAW talent of Awon. An amazing storyteller with a smooth flow and an ability to ride the beat with ease.

The production is handled entirely by San Antonio producer Kameleon. And it’s done with great care and there’s some beautiful tracks.
“Love Supersedes” reminds me at points, a modern day Pete Rock & Cl Smooth… You have the breaks, the smooth Jazz & well arranged samples, plus and the chemistry between the 2 artists is so addictive that it will have you listening to the album many times.
This album although FREE, is one of the best I’ve heard this year. Very consistent from beginning to end. And its going straight to my stash of contenders to Top 10 Albums of 2010.
Awon is a very cool brother too, and you’re going to see a whole lot more of him on WIB…..as always we’ve got you cover on all the dopest ish out there.
