Amy D is back with the visuals for her song “Like You” which comes just a few weeks after sharing her soul-laden record “Unrequited”

“Like You” is a jazz-infused soul record that truly displays Amy’s dynamic range and engaging songwriting. She takes time to celebrate the feminine individuality regardless of your color, creed, and background. Backed by a smooth blend of lush keys, reflective horns, and smooth drums, Amy D delivers a stunning performance with her honeyed vocals cascading the backdrop from start to finish. For this to come alive, she recruited producer and master keyboardist Michael Aaberg, “Mike Tiger,” (Goapele, Lalah Hathaway) for the track.

The video was shot in Oakland with an all-female cast & crew, featuring women and children from diverse backgrounds. It is radiant and most importantly aims to celebrate amazing and powerful San Francisco Bay Area women who are artists, leaders, mothers, daughters amongst other things.

Amy will be following up her single “Unrequited” with a tour and full album, “Like You” (also produced by Mike Tiger).
