Singer/songwriter Amy D (Amy Dabalos ) comes through with a soul-gripping record titled “Unrequited” that truly taps into her deepest emotions while exploring a subject matter we all can relate to. Backed by a beautiful blend of jazz, soul and R&B instrumentations, the layered textures exude a very reflective feeling as Amy D shares her experience on unresolved love. Her soul-filled vocals cascade the dynamic soundscape made by master keyboardist Michael Aaberg, “Mike Tiger,” (Goapele, Lalah Hathaway) and with each note, the listener is drawn closer to the nucleus of it all.

Her most recent release, Affirmations (2015), premieres soulful, original compositions that showcase Amy exploring themes of self-love and emotional healing. Previous releases include Light (2014), an eclectic mixture of jazz-influenced covers, and Some Other Time, a 2011 collection of jazz standards. In addition to leading a project under her name, she currently fronts R&B and soul band The Vibrant Things and lends her voice to John Worley’s Mo-Chi Quintet and The Bad Ones.
