“So Good” is an uplifting and soulful track by bay area artist Afterthought and he is joined by fellow Bay Area rapper Caleborate and singer OFLO. The soulful cut is ripe with summery vibes and celebratory horns courtesy of Roy Nathanson peppered over vibrant drums and a whole lot of motivational and insightful lyrics from the rappers. OFLO ties it all up with her soul-lifting melodic chorus and soothing background vocals.

“So Good” is taken from Afterthought’s new LP Family First 2, a project that fuses elements of R&B, Jazz, soul, and hip-hop. It features guest verses from fellow Bay Area rappers, Caleborate , Stunnaman02 & Jwalt , as well as a scathing verse on racial injustice from hip-hop heavyweight Dizzy Wright . In addition, the project features glimmering pop hooks from the talented OFLO  and funk singer Nic Hanson, and a beautiful bridge on “Take Your Time” by rising pop star Rence.
