Bronx-based rapper ADVICE enthralled us with his pen on his new single “dismyshit.” The one-off song is a pure display of lyricism and flow as the emerging rapper delivers a smooth off-kilter performance ripe with graphic lyrics and then some. He doesn’t actually stick to a topic but just uses it to showcase what he has behind the microphone. The moody soundscape is provided by Kartik.
Kevin Toledo aka ADVICE is a Puerto Rican/Dominican creative born and raised in The Bronx. Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lehman College and a background in serving different types of people including street homeless individuals, people with developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth. Now putting his thoughts, experiences, and knowledge into artistic outlets in hopes to reach a wider audience and give people hope through his music.
