Emerging rapper Ace Fontaine caught our ears with this retrospective tune titled  “1424”, a sombre cut that sees him detailing his journey thus far. Over a sublime and airy backdrop made up of ethereal vocals, haunting textures and heavenly horns, Ace talks about his upbringing and his different experiences as a young man trying to get his feet on solid ground. The lyrics are personal, evocative and graphic and relatable as well.
