Jupiliax-F helps kick off this week’s playlist with “That’s why,” a mellow jazz/hiphop track that evokes nostalgia and great memories. The flute-led track boasts warm textures, ethereal plucks and a solid drum groove to complete the mission. CaliCronk‘s “Saffron Breeze” lives up to its title with its summer-tinged vibe.”Oceanside” by German producers PalandBeatz and yiobe is a blissful track that takes listeners on a relaxing trip. Production duo Gianni and Idepen tap into the realms of soul/jazz-hop in this collaboration titled “Golden.” Another solid gem on this playlist is from Japanese producers Lofi Milk and Issei Igarashi, “After the Last Note” is a soothing piano-driven beat with lofi aesthetics. DertyLee drops the “Clear Path,” a soothing and emotionally punchy track, while Netherlands-based Superglue takes us on a scenic ride with “Before Sunset.” The track has rich Spanish guitar licks with modern jazz elements.

Spanish producer Blue Hippo takes us on a trip with “Daydreaming,” a plucky guitar-laden beat with sublime textures and soft grooves. “Only There for a Moment” by Lowe’s Retreat is a reflective track that boasts lush guitar licks, airy strings and sparse grooves that build over time. GT Beats delivers a hard-hitting piece, “10 Toes Down,” on the playlist. The production is clean, crisp and perfect for rappers. Steve Nguyen enters our playlist with two tracks, “Matsumoto Shave Ice” and “Empathetic.” The former is a summer-tinged soul/jazz/hip-hop infused piece that is dynamic, uplifting and sublime. The latter is a laidback and mellow piano-driven lofi/jazz track that evokes solemn moments. The layered instrumentation displayed on both tracks is impeccable and highlights Nguyen’s versatile production style. Veteran producer Jah Born delivers a welcome respite with “Sunset Orange,” a sublime, soulful track that evokes nostalgia and blissful vibes. The textures are warm and atmospheric, and the drums are sturdy and hard-hitting. He also drops “Starfish,” featuring Jordache Grant, to the playlist. The track has a solemn vibe, and it’s piano-driven with ethereal vibes. German producer Karkasse raises the ante with “Lost,” a hard-hitting and edgy track built on dark synths and rising pads underpinned by trap drums and moody textures.

 

South African producer Damien Sebe tones down the energy with “conversations,” a soul-jazz infused piece that blends rich piano chords, sublime horns and ethereal pads that create a relaxing ambiance. Funky Notes and Ben Jammin’ Beats captivate this week’s playlist with “Time Goes By.” The collaboration brings together a dynamic and versatile musical performance, rich in soulful textures that evoke nostalgia, and a bouncy, bass-driven drum groove that elicits a head bop.
