Vocab Slick connects with San Quinn, Dela The Fella, and DJ True Justice in the new video for “1122,” a bass-driven banger that serves as a celebration of each emcee’s respective stomping grounds (Santa Rosa and the Bay Area).  Bolstered by the thumping soundscape provided by Killa Trax & Starski, the emcees come through with a pure lyrical display. With a visual directed by Templito Brand and edits/visual effects by YS GFX who both make use of the emcee’s stylish lyrics and deliver an eye-popping visual that pays homage to the culture.

The track itself stems from Vocab Slick’s excellent 2021 album, Language, and its title is a reference to his area code (707) and San Quinn’s (415) — add them up and you get 1122. It’s a fitting homage in name and sound, and it’s a firm reminder that Language is one of the better releases of the past few years.
