Flint Michigan rapper/producer Wahyo caught our ears with two joints from his catalog. The songs showcase both his proficiency behind the boards and on the microphone as well. His debut project Class Of 85 was released in 2020.

The first cut “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” has a gritty retro vibe with crunchy drums and a live audience feel. Wahyo delivers an off-the-cuff performance alongside J.A who both go for a raw lyric dense approach. Wahyo adds that it was inspired by an old freestyle from Tupac and Biggie.

“Good Morning” is an insightful and revealing track that sees Wahyo in retrospective mode. He takes the listener back in time and shares some childhood stories about his journey as a young man trying to find his way in this world.
