UK emcee Mezmah makes his entry on our site with this somber and reflective song titled “Future Past.” The track is a heartfelt tale of his journey as a young man with complicated issues with father figures around him.
He takes the listener deep into his thoughts and gives his own account without sugarcoating it. He is honest and keeps it objective without pointing fingers at a certain party but rather tries to see how things can move forward. It’s quite heartfelt and breaks down the stigma of having daddy issues, a situation that is often erroneously attributed to women only.
“Future Past” is track 4 off his debut EP Better Late Than Never released in January of this year.
