Brisbane-based Ghanian rap act iiiConic shares his poignant new single with us titled “Needs”.  The single is his latest effort for the second half of the year and showcases his unique style dubbed new-wave sound. Backed by a lush, gripping soundscape iiiConic shares his thoughts on being able to reach his potential regardless of all the challenges that may surround him. With lush adlibs coursing throughout the chorus, iiiConic’s vocal dexterity is showcased while still providing the hard punch of the vintage hip hop style.

The 19-year-old is coming off the back of a huge 18-months which included releasing a handful of eclectic new singles, supporting beloved Aussie stars Thundamentals on the Brisbane leg of their national tour and performing at 2017’s Sprung Hip-Hop Festival as the youngest and freshest act on the bill. To open 2019 IIICONIC headlined Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Big Top Luna Park in Sydney presented by Justin Cassin in front of 3000 people.
