When Wu-Tang affiliate, Warcloud a.k.a Holocaust put out that track America, not a lot of people understood his poetry. I couldn’t help but think of that emcee when I listened to this track titled American Dream and Warcloud’s message can’t be any clearer as do Shlick Smit, Solitude and AFRO. These three emcees share the not so popular knowledge that the American Dream is a farce that only the media hypes but is totally different from reality. There isn’t much to see in this video and I guess it is necessary to portray the grittiness of the message about the savagery that is America which a lot of people never see.
