After leaving listeners with a great taste in their mouth from last week’s leak of Planet Paradise, DMV-rapper GoldLink drops his debut album, The God Complex. This future-bounce (as GoldLink describes it) EP floats nicely somewhere between the golden era of hiphop sound and the electro-bounce vibe rappers have been slowly infiltrating into their work – GoldLink being on the more successful side of that effort. I can’t pick a favorite. I’m not sure if it’s Louie Lastic’s rhythmic footworky synths used on tracks like “Divine“, or JFK Jaylen’s most sexual sample of Britney Spear’s Toxic on “How It’s Done,

Spin it back after the jump and make sure you give each track a listen.
