The good people at Darker Than Wax teamed up with vocalist Rebecca Rose for this warm syrupy goodness called My Flame. Built off a solid sample(Do your research) with head nodding drums and percussions, Rebecca Rose comes through with an angelic vocal performance that keeps the listener coming back for more. She really embodies the 90s RnB/Soul aura on this joint. This is straight up undeniable.

The 22 yr old vocalist is out of Rialto, which is part of the region known as the Inland Empire, California. She picked up singing at the young age of 5, and has always felt like she is an older soul. Thus, it’s no surprise that her influences stem & carries from the likes of Sade, to the funky energy of legendary bands Earth, Wind & Fire and The Gap Band. Already clocking a couple of features under her belt with East Coast emcee ScienZe (Lord Quest production & Ski), her objective is to follow the nature of her voice, and to make it relatable in the most humblest way possible
