Zeyi returns with a new single titled “Closer,” a laidback reflective tune that sees the rapper detailing his journey as an artist and black man in this crazy world. He makes use of a solemn piano-laden backdrop to share his thoughts. He delivers his verses with a laser-focused demeanor and even throws in some engaging melodies to match. Ultimately, he lets listeners know that he is still a work in progress but he is more determined to see it through so giving up is not an option at the moment.
