Today’s episode of The Word is Bond Rap Radio Hour is all about the beats.

We start off the show by highlighting some of the great instrumental hip-hop tracks that were submitted to us for our annual Word is Bond Rap Radio Hour Competition.

We then talk to the human beatbox champion Hachey the MouthPEACE. He recently won a battle on Much Music’s flagshow New Music Live. He won a Hamilton Music Award, and has been performing at various hip-hop events and festivals all summer. MouthPEACE is making big moves. It was so cool being able to sit down and talk with him and hear his grooves live on the radio.
