This coming Sunday is Father’s Day and I wanted to pay tribute to all of the fathers out there.

Unfortunately, in a lot of rap songs, we hear lyrics about fathers who weren’t there for their children when they were growing up. We can hear the pain in those lyrics, in the choice of words that the emcees use, and in the repetitive content of absentee fathers.

Today’s show is about celebrating fatherhood. We will look closely at songs that show what an important role fathers have in their children’s lives.
