Cleveland, Ohio-born rapper/songwriter werdperfect helped us kick off the week with two solid joints from his new project. The first track “Downslide” is a smooth fusion of country guitar stylings with punchy drum breaks and sees werdperfect in his element as he engages the audiences with pure bravado and confidence about his skills and storytelling abilities.

The second track “10,000 Hours” is inspired by the famous work ethic rule provided by writer Malcolm Gladwell and is another masterclass of lyricism from werdperfect. The rapper employs a dark and brooding soundscape that forms a cryptic canvas for werdperfect to create vivid imagery of an individual who is aiming for his target and at this rate, he shall not miss.
