Dublin-based emcee Wallfella pens a heartfelt homage to the “Blonde in the Black Dress” in his latest release. The concept track is a personification of the dark brew that soothes the soul of men after a long, hard day’s work. The production is particularly striking as Wallfella recruits producer Odd Numbers( Odhran O’Brien) and Craig McComish (who plays the bass) to create a smooth, soulful/pop/hip-hop infused backdrop that fits the occasion. Over the plucky guitar licks, pulsating bass-driven grooves and soothing pads, Wallfella delivers a heartfelt performance ripe with passion and grit as he raps

Maybe I’ll meet you in the mornin’ (mornin’)
Need you to catch me when I’m fallin’ (fallin’)
Danger if I take it any further, ah well
Sure, whatever kills ya cures ya, cures ya

which underpin his love for the pint and the comfort it brings him. This is the third single from his forthcoming EP The Coop is Full, produced by Odd Numbers.
