Australian legendary producer Ta-Ku teamed up with Wafia and Masego on this ethereal soulful jam titled “Wide Open” from the recently released compilation from Qrates, a Japanese full-service vinyl manufacturing platform.

“Wide Open” is bolstered by a layered and dreamy texture that serves as the perfect backdrop for Wafia’s angelic vocals and Masego’s alluring melodic runs. A nice blend of different styles that seamlessly merge into one another. “Wide Open” is taken from the maiden edition of the compilation series titled ‘In Good Hands, the project boasts music from Jarreau VandalPlease Wait, Sango x AlaynaKannaSubeckKerri x Ache, and more

The ‘In Good Hands Vol. 1’ artwork features romantic pastel-pink and grey with its glowing, flowery silhouette coming from Samuel Burgess-Johnson. Not only is the London-based designer behind releases from pop icons Tove Lo, The 1975, and Usher, but he’s also responsible for the baroque beauty of Ta-ku‘s own 2014 album ‘Songs to Break Up To’.
