Leveled

“Will that playing field ever be levelled?” is the question asked by rapper Vicious Teknique on his new single entitled “Leveled.” The track is a reflective piece that explores the power dynamics of the powerless masses against the corrupt system. Over a solemn backdorp featuring vocal samples, mellow guitar licks, and soft drums, Vicious Teknique takes listeners on a thought-provoking journey as he dissects the parallels between corrupt billionaires and their influence, wielding power with street-level gangs like the Bloods and crips, while referencing the tragic case of the late Virginia Giuffre, who was one of the first people to reveal Epstein’s clandestine activities to the world.

The track is a deep look at the modern world, where meritocracy is championed, but in reality the system is broken beyond repair, leaving the common man with hardly any recourse.
