South Liverpool’s MC Nelson releases visuals for his personal track titled “Calderstones.” The record describes his inward relationship withCalderstones Park which the Mayor plans to annex a large section in order to build luxury homes.

Nelson entices listeners and the community in with reminiscent tales and cultured history of the park. His heartrending cause is evident through prolific lyrics declaring the park as our lungs and the oak capturing a thousand years of children playing. “On and on and on and on my cypher keeps rolling like a Calderstone/ Where will the kids play when the park’s all gone/ Every acre is sacred we can’t lose one.”

The righteous MC rhymes over melodic soulful beats and entrancing instrumental tones. His narrative flows effortlessly over enthusiastic images of children playing, a unified community, ever-lasting aging couples, and the organic bliss of nature.

The art of Hip-Hop in its traditional form is delivered by MC Nelson. Watch “Calderstones” above and stream the single here.  For more information on #SaveCaldies and to sign the petition click here.
