Manchester, UK-based producer/DJ TURNA teams up with musician Katus Myles for his new collaborative single titled “Rent Free”. The record is a smooth mix of future-soul/R&B with a hip-hop twist ripe with alluring melodies and relatable songwriting. Over the sublime textures and head-nodding grooves, Katus talks about external perceptions and their effects on one’s true being as we try to balance the two. Sometimes we do live rent-free in the mind of others but the trick is not to get too comfortable.

TURNA’s last single “Hold On” – a collaboration with Toronto singer Gillian Mapp – has amassed over 100,000 plays on streaming services to date and his musical prowess has earned him a spot on Spotify’s editorial playlists, including New Music Friday, Mood Ring, Outliers, and Choice Edit, solidifying his influence in the world of music.
