Alberta rapper Travis Omen teams up with d.e.a.f. and Stems for this self-reflective track “Off The Ground.” The trio are members of the Calgary Music Award-nominated group Project Trybe and are pushing their art beyond their province to the rest of the globe. “Off The Ground” is bolstered by the laid back, punchy beat that serves a the perfect backdrop for the insightful and heartfelt lyrics from each emcee.
As a group, they have put out several visuals and albums in the decade they started the music and have a deep catalog as well as several performances across stages in Canada. As a solo act, Omen put out a concept project The Art of the Freewritten in 2020 and is also a Red Deer Entertainment awards nominee amongst other successes. He is currently working on a double-disc project Dreams Come Tru’ & ‘Nightmares 2.
