Odqin – “Days in the Sun”

Kicking off this week’s beat list is Odqin who sets it off with “Days in the sun”. The mellow record has a nice blend of lush soft keys, warm and alluring basslines with a nostalgic pad to match. For thos ethat don’t know Odqin (born Islam Ghallab) is a music producer born in Alexandria, Egypt.

Coldbrew – “clt”

Coldbrew returns with a short piece he calls “clt”, a solemn beat that lasts for less than a minute and showcases the producer’s minimalistic style and unorthodox approach.

 

 

Bmbu – “fun dip”

John Alsace (aka Bmbu), is not new to TWIB and on his new entry “fun dip”, he gets retrospective on us. The smooth blend of soft keys, nostalgia-inducing strings makes you want to relax and think of all the good things life can offer. Get it on Bandcamp.

Philly based producer MVMNT shares a new type beat titled “Rewind”. It has an emotion-laden feel with its lush textures and vibrant drum patterns to match. Well crafted if you asked me. Solid from start to finish.

 

 

Bmbu – “muse”

Bmbu comes through again with another gem titled “muse” Here he goes for a semi-futuristic style with a cinematic texture that exudes broodiness from start to finish.

 

Daryl Donald – “My God!”

Straight out of Edinburgh, Scotland comes producer Daryl Donald who laces us with a new beat “My God!”. A very reflective and soothing beat laced with lush keys, xylophone-esque elements and a nice groove to match.

Hanses – “Rustle”

Daryl Donald – “Full Circle”

 

Daryl Donald comes through again with another gem “Full Circle” which is the title track of his new project. He takes us on a nostalgic ridden trip on this tune. Very chilled, emotional and reflective from start to finish.

Duneboi – “sluggish”

Duneboi crafted a story laden instrumental titled “sluggish” for this week’s list. The dark cinematic textures make for a solid listen as he breaks the beat into 2 parts. The first section details how he lost the keys tot he spaceship in an unknown jungle while the second section focuses on when he found said keys and got out of the jungle.
