TJ DanSon is a 20 year old norwegian MC/Producer from Løvstakken, Bergen, Norway. At the age of 13 he made his first hip hop beat and has since 2009 developed a distinctive style within hip hop. His beats are clearly affected by the classic 90’s boom bap sound you would associate with DJ Premier, Pete Rock, J Dilla & Madlib. With a broad spectre of jazz-samples he has created music which fits most states of mind, usually with a classy untertone.

In 2002 TJ and his family moved to England where he attended English school and learned the language. Since he started writing lyrics in 2009 it has been natural to write in Hip Hop’s native tounge. With a well developed vocabulary and a ctitical view on the society he wishes to take norwegian rap to a new level, as well as opening his listeners eyes and ears for new knowledge.
