Emerging singer/songwriter Tianna shares her new single “Please You”, a laidback lofi-R&B infused piece that explores the intricacies of failed relationships, self-projection and the negative effects of wanting to please someone. Over the soft progressive chords and downtempo drum grooves, Tianna details her experience with lines like

Tried to make it work/But you ain’t put me first
You told me that it’s hard/And you don’t want your feelings hurt/Stay blowing up my phone
Do you think that it’s a joke?/Can’t tell me you don’t want me/Then won’t leave me alone

The song comes off as an open letter with her reflecting on the past and her coming to terms with the situation and ultimately reminder her ex that all she wanted was to make things work.
