London-born, Kent-raised singer/songwriter Thomas Jay caught our ears with his take on R&B and modern neo-soul. Armed with a distinct and commanding vocal tone, Jay delivers his latest release “Tangled” which dives into the aftermath of a relationship gone south and as the two part ways, Jay reflects on the good memories and how certain feelings keep lingering on. Over the lush and dreamy soundscape, melodic runs with lines like  “A whirlwind of emotion/Swept up in the tide/We were treading water/Pretending we were fine” take precedence and offer audiences a glimpse into the singer’s soul.
