How Lonely Is Lonely

East Los Angeles-based Thee Sinseers are keeping Chicano Soul alive with their vibrant modern take on the retro-tinged sub-genre. This revival, led by frontman Joey Quiñones has broken the mould by effortlessly bringing decades-long tradition into the modern space with a smooth blend of soul, doo-wop, oldies, lowrider culture, and R&B underpinned by Indigenous and Mexican roots. This is prominent on their latest release “How Lonely Is Lonely,” a heartfelt look at the emotional toll of heartbreak and loneliness within a relationship. The production evokes nostalgia and warmth as the lyrics tap into the emotional void of an individual looking for true connection with their significant other.

“How Lonely Is Lonely” is taken from their forthcoming Love Stories, due September 18 via Colemine Records.
