The UK based rapping trumpeter The Pinch‘s single “The Big Illusion” gives a tongue-in-cheek breakdown of this never-ending soap opera called life.

Backed by a jazzy backdrop ripe with lush horns, slinky bass guitars, and impeccable drum arrangement by Manchester drummer Oscar Odgen, The Pinch tears down the facade we are faced with every day. From grinding from 9 to 5, keeping up appearances to paying bills. It may sound gloomy but this is life as we know it and we might as well make do with what we get.

“The Big Illusion” is the 2nd single from The Pinch’s new EP Tales Of Demons And Darkness (It’s due on the August 23rd)
