Rising Canadian rapper Tee Krispil has been on the grind for a minute now but as we hit the second half ot the year she hits us with her new project titled “One Way Ticket”.  The 8 track project is pretty interesting with its genre-bending approach and its laced metaphor, style, and musicality. The project was produced in its entirety by her go to producer Moxsa (aka Ari James)  who brings old school flavor with new school sounds to create a unique sonic experience that’s reminiscent of the 90’s but relevant to today’s hip-hop.

This project is about many things, but the title One Way Ticket is a play on words alluding to how we are all ONE. With a background in teaching yoga and after a spiritual revelation Tee had while in Israel, she began making music from what she calls a “higher source”. A channeling of sorts, Tee feels like a vessel that’s here to share truth from higher realms. Her passive participation in music creation is intriguing, and the messages are important. Being widely involved with Vancouver’s cannabis community (she owns a CBD Tea company called FLEURS), she playfully refers to herself as the “microdose mami”- an ode to her love for cannabis and micro-doses of psychedelics.
